Outgoing Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has held talks with Real Madrid over a possible Bosman move, according to The Daily Mail.
The Ivory Coast international has left Stamford Bridge after his contract with the club expired, leaving on a high with Champions League glory under his belt.
The African marksman was expected to make a big money move to join fellow ex-Chelsea forward Nicolas Anelka at Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua, but talks have dragged over the deal.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in bringing Drogba to the Santiago Bernabeu, and has held discussions with the player’s agent over a possible two-year deal with the newly-crowned Spanish champions.
