Portsmouth's FA Cup Final preparations have been boosted by the news that Aruna Dindane has been cleared to play at Wembley.
Dindane, 29, is on loan at Fratton Park from French club Lens.
However, Pompey had feared the Ivory Coast striker would miss next month's showpiece against Chelsea as one more appearance would have triggered an automatic £3.5million payment to his parent club.
With Portsmouth in administration they could not afford to make the payment so Dindane was set to miss out.
However, Lens have now agreed to waive the clause which means that the seven-goal striker can play in their remaining Premier League games and also the cup final on May 15.
"Aruna in on his way back with a letter from Lens," club administrator Andrew Andronikou told BBC Sport.
"I've been told he can play the rest of our games – including the Chelsea final – and we won't have to pay any money."
