Arsenal ace Lukas Podolski has joined Inter Milan on loan until the end of the season, talkSPORT reports.
The Germany international arrived from FC Cologne back in 2012 but has never really found regular playing time at the Emirates, with manager Arsene Wenger using him as an impact substitute rather than a starter.
Podolski has thus vented his frustration over the past few months, alerting Inter of his services.
The 29-year-old has already trained with the Serie A giants on Monday, and after Arsenal’s win FA Cup win Wenger announced that the World Cup winner has officially left the club.
Inter boss Roberto Mancini was clearly happy with his new signing, stating at a press conference: “He is experienced and has a wonderful career behind him.
“He will help us and is not at the end of his career.”
Despite his limited appearances, Podolski has scored three goals in the current campaign, including an injury-time winner against Anderlecht in the Champions League.
