Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj will return to the club despite his performance while on loan with Borussia Dortmund, according to reports from the Metro.
The 20-year-old joined the Bundesliga side ahead of transfer deadline day, but based on a statement made by Press Association reporter Paul Hirst, there is no buyout option in the deal.
In regards to his remarks, this would mean that Dortmund will be unable to buy him until he returns to United and another formal offer for his services is made.
Januzaj is already tipped for a great future at Old Trafford, but it seems that manager Louis van Gaal is keen on the winger getting regular playing time elsewhere.
The Dutch boss already has a large number of options in midfield, with Juan Mata and summer signing Memphis Depay his preferred selection down the flanks.
The Belgium international only managed to register seven Premier League starts last term while featuring from the bench a further 11 times, but was unable to find the back of the net.
