As reported by The Scottish Sun, Celtic are set to be without both Moussa Dembele AND Leigh Griffiths as they head to Tynecastle on Sunday to face Hearts in a match that could secure their sixth successive league title.

What's the story?

Celtic need a win against Hearts to finally get over the line in the Scottish Premiership and kickstart a title party.

However, Brendan Rodgers has revealed that they'll be without star Frenchman Moussa Dembele for the big match.

As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said:

Moussa won’t play at the weekend. He will miss the weekend and he should be OK for next week. Towards the end of the Dundee game he struggled. He didn’t think it was anything afterwards, but when we got the scan on it there was a little tweak of his hamstring.

Not only that but the Celtic boss also revealed that Leigh Griffiths is also a big doubt for the match, meaning that Celtic may have to opt for the likes of Scott Sinclair to play through the middle, with depth in the striking positions lacking.

Again, quoted by the Scottish Sun, Rodgers said:

Leigh is probably struggling for the weekend. He did well in the Scotland game so getting the wee knock was obviously frustrating for him. But hopefully within the next week he will be back.

It's a massive double blow for the Hoops, with fans eager to seal the title at the home of a club they have no love for. It's always a tough test at Tynecastle and whether they can get over the line on Sunday without their striking stars remains to be seen.

Supporters are likely to see their team secure the title over the next week regardless with opportunities against Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock to follow over the next week at Celtic Park.
