Ajax are said to have made an enquiry over a move to sign Arsenal star Wojciech Szczesny as a potential replacement for Manchester United target Jasper Cillessen, Daily Mail reports.
Szczesny was dropped and replaced by previous summer signing David Ospina midway through the previous campaign due to a number of off-field disciplinary issues.
In addition to that, the arrival of Petr Cech has put his place in further doubt as it is certain that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will make the former Chelsea goalkeeper his first choice selection.
The Dutch giants are now keen on luring Szczesny to the club should United win the race to sign Netherlands international Cillessen.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has been linked with a host of keepers throughout the summer amid speculation that David de Gea was set to complete a move to Real Madrid.
