England are now seventh in the FIFA world rankings, while Northern Ireland are down to 119th and Wales have risen to 49th.
The top three of Spain, Germany and Argentina remain the same in the latest FIFA world rankings table, with Croatia leaping five places to move into fourth place.
Portugal and Colombia are the other teams above England, while Italy, Netherlands and Ecuador complete the top 10.
Wales have risen from 71st to 49th in the standings, with the Republic of Ireland up to 39th but Scotland have slipped 11 places to 77th.
Northern Ireland have fallen from 98th to 119th and are now behind the likes of Tajikistan, Kuwait and Antigua and Barbuda in the FIFA rankings system.
World Cup 2014 hosts Brazil are 19th and Ivory Coast are the highest ranked African side at 12th, with AFCON 2013 champions Nigeria ranked 31st.
