Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is “crazy” about young winger Bertrand Traore and has him in his first-team plans, according to Vitesse Arnhem coach Peter Bosz.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan with the Dutch club from the Blues, with the two teams closely linked – Wallace and Josh McEachran having also been sent to the GelreDome on a temporary basis.
Despite his young age, Traore played a big role during Vitesse’s end of season surge, notching 10 goals in 18 appearances.
Chelsea’s policy of loaning players out has led to sales in the past, which has plunged the futures of some of their sizable crop of stars away from Stamford Bridge, but Bosz says that Mourinho has been keeping a close eye on the teenager and is keen to take him back to West London:
“Jose Mourinho is crazy about him,” he is quoted by Goal. “If the opportunity is there, they prefer to take him back.”
The 11-time Burkina Faso international has been with Chelsea since 2013, after joining the club from Auxerre’s youth ranks.
