Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted that he does not know what the future holds and that he could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
The reigning Premier League champions have had a deplorable campaign to date and are set to miss out on Champions League qualification after an abysmal start to 2015-16.
With a new manager coming to the West London club in the summer, a major revamp of the playing squad is expected.
Courtois was the man to push Blues legend Petr Cech out of the club and has proven himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world game.
However, the former Atletico Madrid loanee has stated that his future could well be away from the English side.
“Will I leave Chelsea this summer? I won’t say yes, but I won’t say no either,” The Daily Star quote Courtois as saying.
“I don’t know. I still have three years left on my contract, and we will have to see what Chelsea want to do.”
Courtois is set to feature for a progressive Belgium side at Euro 2016 and is expected to get the nod to start for his country ahead of Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet.
