The 26-year-old Brazilian has been a huge hit in Italy since joining the Turin club from Santos in his homeland in 2014, wowing fans and pundits alike with his attacking talents from the right side of his team’s backline.
And his performances seem to have attracted Premier League interest, with reports claiming last season’s champions and runners-up, Leicester and Arsenal, are both interested.
It’s understood that the Gunners have put forward an opening offer for the attack-minded defender, but that Torino have deemed their proposal to be too low.
Leicester meanwhile remain keen and may step up their interest before the close of the current transfer window.
In 2015/16, Peres completed more dribbles (83) than any other defender in any of Europe’s top five leagues.
