Even the referee joins in with Belgium’s tiki-taka football

It is hard enough to play against 11 men but when the referee starts joining in you know you’re in trouble.

Some say tiki-taka is dead after Spain’s exit from the World Cup but tell that to the Belgians who seem to relish knocking the ball between themselves at the back, no matter who they pass to.

As you can see, the referee in their game v Argentina is even adverse to the odd first touch lay off and Axel Witsel is happy enough to exchange a one-two with the clearly bias official.
