Both Everton and Swansea are interested in appointing St Etienne boss Christophe Galtier this summer, according to Team Talk.
The 49-year-old Frenchman has a stellar reputation in his homeland and has been in charge of the modest Ligue 1 side since 2009.
In that time the former Marseille defender has consistently led St Etienne to overachieve and has the respect of an ever-changing group of players.
Everton are believed to have run out of patience with Roberto Martinez and the Spaniard could well be shown the Goodison Park door this summer.
Swansea relieved Garry Monk of his responsibilities earlier this season and have since had Francesco Guidolin in charge at the Liberty Stadium.
However, the Italian trainer’s deal with the Welsh side expires this summer and it is unknown whether the former Udinese man will be offered an extension or more permanent arrangement.
Galtier has been linked with managerial posts at both Aston Villa and Newcastle in the past.
