Everton face the task of keeping Romelu Lukaku at the club after Wolfsburg are said to be preparing a £33million offer to acquire his services, according to reports from the Mirror.
Despite only recently joining the Toffees on a permanent deal after a season long-loan at the club, Wolfsburg are said to still be interested in the Belgium international.
The German side are currently second in the German top flight and well on their way to a earning a spot for next season’s Champions League.
With this in mind, the club is looking to reinforce their squad ahead of the new campaign and are ready to reignite their interest in the striker.
They were close to signing Lukaku the previous summer, but was unable to meet the price demands set by the Blues at the time.
Although the Toffees have been struggling in the Premier League, Lukaku has been on top form in the Europa League, scoring seven goals from his last eight appearances.
