Everton are closing in on a deal that will see Barcelona starlet Munir El Haddadi join the club this January, according to reports from the Metro.
Munir has struggled to make his mark in the Barcelona first team with the likes of Luis Suarez, Neymar, and Lionel Messi ahead of him the in the pecking order, and the youngster is intent on leaving to secure regular football.
Despite Messi still recovering from a knee ligament injury, the 20-year-old has been constantly rotated with Sandro Ramirez on the wing by manager Luis Enrique.
And once the Argentina captain regains full fitness, Munir is definitely set for another spell on the bench.
However, according to Spanish source Don Balon, Everton boss Roberto Martinez is extremely keen on Munir and will make a push for his signature in the upcoming transfer window.
The Toffees have a rather good relationship with the European champions after their dealings with Gerard Deulofeu, and will look to add another Barca ace to their ranks in Munir.
