Everton consider loan deal

Everton are considering a loan move for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner to boost their frail forward line reports The Mirror.

Bendtner was the subject of interest from the Toffees in January and manager David Moyes still holds a vested interest in the striker.

Arsenal weren’t prepared to let the Dane leave then, but the 23-year-old is now surplus to requirements at the Emirates stadium and available to leave the club.

The Everton boss wants a striker to ease the burden on Jermaine Beckford who scored a respectable 10 goals in his debut season in the top flight.

A loan move would suit cash-strapped Everton who reportedly must sell before they can buy.
