Everton in for previous Champions League winner

Roberto Martinez is looking to bring Galatasary’s Goran Pandev to Goodison Park, that is according to the Liverpool Echo.

Pandev, who only joined the Turkish in the summer from Italian side Napoli, has fallen out of favour in Turkey and is allowed to speak with other clubs in January – the striker’s contract is up for renewal in the summer.

Pandev has four goals from eight appearances so far this season, however, he is yet to start in Turkey’s top flight making only two appearances.

Roberto Martinez is clearly for ways in January to find the Toffees some consistency with his side currently sitting in 12th place in the Premier League, having scored 27 but conceded 28 – matters weren’t helped with a 1-0 defeat to Stoke City today.
