Everton loanee could stay at Goodison

Barcelona are yet to decide on the future of forward Gerard Deulofeu who could stay with Everton next season, as reported by Football-Espana.

The Spanish youngster has impressed on Merseyside this season, although injuries have restricted his constant game time.

Deulofeu could be given a second loan spell in the Premier League with Barcelona hoping the 19 year old evolves further and becomes ready for the first team at the Nou Camp.

Everton are keen to keep the winger, who is now fully fit and set to break back into Roberto Martinez’s side with the massive FA Cup quarter final with Arsenal taking centre stage this weekend.

A number of other Premier League clubs would be interested in taking Deulofeu, with West Ham and Southampton narrowly missing out on him back in August.

Everton will be given first refusal on the star though and Martinez is desperate to snap up Barcelona’s offer with their own new signing Alen Halilovic expected to be given 12 months at least to settle in with the Catalan first team.
