Everton star Seamus Coleman believes David Moyes will make a return to the Premier League after he was sacked by Real Sociedad, Express reports.
The 52-year-old was also sacked by Manchester United during the 2013-2014 campaign despite signing a long-term contract to become Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor.
Moyes only managed to pick up two wins from a total of 11 matches this season, a factor that eventually sealed his fate with the La Liga outfits.
However, Coleman came out to state that since the Scottish manager is well respected in the Premier League, it is likely that he will make a return to England.
“He was great with me and he took me from Sligo Rovers, obviously with the help of a scout,” he said.
“I was disappointed with how the last 18 months went for him because he is a great manager and I’ve now seen that first hand but hopefully he’ll be back in the game soon because he still has a lot to give.
“He’s respected a lot in the Premier League and I’m sure he’ll get back in.”
The Toffees eventually replaced him with Roberto Martinez who only managed to lead the club to an 11th place finish, a bad position given that the last time the club finished lower than eight was during the 2005-2006 season.
Everton are currently sitting ninth in the Premier League this term, winning four, drawing five, and losing three of their previous 12 games.
