Everton to make loan offer for Chelsea’s Hazard

Everton are planning a summer move for Chelsea starlet Thorgan Hazard, as they prepare to table a loan offer for the youngster, Metro reports.

Thorgan, on loan at Belgium side Zulte Waregem, is the younger brother of Chelsea Player of the Year Eden Hazard.

He has been in impressive form this year, landing the Belgian Pro League Player of the Year accolade but more importantly, has attracted interest from Premier League clubs.

Although highly rated at Stamford Bridge, it is very unlikely that he’ll play much first team football at Chelsea making a move to Everton more ideal.

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is expected to lose Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu this summer, with the Spaniard ruling out a second loan spell at Goodison Park.

And Hazard has been named as the player to replace the Catalan-bound winger, with his dazzling displays and tally of 16 goals enough to convince the Everton hierarchy.

The 21-year-old also made the Belgium national team reserve squad for this year’s World Cup.
