It has not been kept a secret that Everton are going to invest heavily this summer and Ronald Koeman is already eyeing up two big signings, according to the Daily Express.
Axel Witsel and Tim Krul are believed to be at the top of Ronald Koeman’s list as he looks to reinforce an Everton squad that criminally underachieved under the stewardship of their previous manager, Roberto Martinez.
Krul would be a good replacement for Tim Howard in between the sticks, where Everton have experienced difficulties over the past couple of seasons whilst Witsel would offer class and experience in the central midfield area.
Farhad Moshiri is clearly going to give Koeman a substantial war-chest of sorts as the club look to keep pace with other Premier League sides who are showing ambition from the comfort of mid-table.
Koeman will also need to be wary of keeping hold of his best Toffees, Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and John Stones.
