Fabregas to miss Tigers clash

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Cesc Fabregas will miss Saturday's game against Hull City with a hamstring problem.

The midfielder opened the scoring against Burnley but left the field at Turf Moor in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with a first-half injury.

Fabregas had been a pre-match doubt with a back problem but afterwards Wenger revealed that his skipper had picked up a different injury.

The Spain international also took a heavy blow to his shoulder following a robust challenge from Burnley defender Andre Bikey.

"He is injured but for how long I don't know," said the Frenchman. "It is a hamstring. He will not play on Saturday."

Fabregas, who was replaced by Aarom Ramsey in the 43rd minute of the stalemate, has scored ten goals in 21 appearances for the Gunners this season.
