Favourite to replace Manchester United boss not interested

Manchester United’s primary target is likely to turn down the job, as per the Times.

It is reported that Giggs would be offered it on a temporary basis if Louis van Gaal is sacked in the remainder of the season.

Giggs is believed to be frustrated as his role as bridesmaid at the club and would not be keen on replacing on an interim basis for a second time, having served in a temporary role when David Moyes was sacked.

The Welshman is also thought to be frustrated at the prospect of becoming an assistant manager for another manager and could look to leave the club if he doesn’t get his crack at the main job.

Manchester United lost to a team that was formed under two decades ago in midweek and Van Gaal is coming under even more pressure than David Moyes did during his final days.

Injury to David de Gea has only worsened the situation for Van Gaal as Mourinho lurks.
