Flamini used as bait to tempt Tottenham to sell

AC Milan have stepped up their chase for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that the Italian giants are willing to offer cash plus former Arsenal player Mathieu Flamini.

Sandro has become a key member of Harry Redknapp’s team in the second half of the season, and ironically the Brazilian had one of his best games in a Spurs shirt in the second leg against Milan. Redknapp has stated that Sandro is not for sale but with Spurs reportedly looking to ‘freshen’ up their squad this year after missing out on Champions League football , could the cash for future transfer tempt the Lilywhite manager and board?

Flamini’s arrival at White Hart Lane would provoke mixed reaction from the Tottenham faithful, not only due to his Arsenal ties but because of the challenge the Frenchman made on Spurs defender Vedran Corluka, during their Champions League clash this season.
