Nigel Reo-Coker has revealed his emotional re-union with Fabrice Muamba this week that left him choked for words. Having witnessed what he did on the pitch and heard what they were told in the dressing room, Reo-Coker couldn’t believe it on Tuesday when Muamba looked up at him when he visited and said, ‘All right Nige’, before enquiring to him ‘what had happened?’ The Bolton’s stand-in skipper revealed the miracle that has been Muamba’s recovery and feels the rest of the squad have had a weight lifted off their shoulders knowing their teammate is alive and recognises those around him, after what seemed like a impossibility around 6.10pm on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the news Sir Alex Ferguson has challenged Man City to bring on the mind games; Kenny Dalglish refuses to accept this season has been a disappointment, while Arsene Wenger is optimistic that Jack Wilshere will make a return before the end of the season.
