AC Milan want to sign Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado on loan this summer, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
That’s according to Il Messaggero, who believe the Italians will look to install a €25million purchase clause in the deal for next summer, should the Columbian excel back in Serie A.
Cuadrado has only managed 13 Premier League appearances since joining Chelsea, and was sent to Italian champions Juventus last season on loan. There, he made 28 league appearances, scoring 4 goals, as well as netting in the UEFA Champions League away at Bayern Munich. He is yet to score in the Premier League.
Milan are under new ownership, and are expected to be busy in the transfer market with their influx in cash, as they look to get back to their successful ways in the Italian top flight. The club finished 7th last year, 10 points behind rivals Inter and 34 points adrift of the champions.
