Former Anfield star admits to seeing Chelsea replicate Arsenal’s Invincibles

Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp has revealed that Chelsea are getting ever closer to replicating the achievements of Arsenal’s Invincibles, Daily Star reports.

When compared to that of Arsene Wenger’s previous unbeaten squad, Redknapp believes that they had almost no weaknesses in other position, much like how the Blues are turning out to be.

Jose Mourinho’s side were winning on all fronts when his side hosted the Gunners and could even go on to win the league undefeated.

However, with the quality of all the other title rivals, the former Liverpool midfielder believes that is unlikely, but may actually happen given their start of season form.

He added that based on the way they play, their midfielder can take control of the game, with the likes of Eden Hazard producing some magical moments while Diego Costa is capable of capitalizing on any counter-attacking plays.

With Cesc Fabregas working amazingly well with the likes of Costa, setting up four of his nine goals, Mourinho’s squad just showed why they deserved to be title favourites.
