Former Arsenal goalkeeper desperate for Wenger to stay

Arsenal legend David Seaman has urged the Gunners to stick with Arsene Wenger no matter how this seasons ends, as reported by talkSPORT.

The Gunners face Wigan at Wembley this afternoon in their FA Cup semi-final in a game that could decide the future of boss Wenger.

Fans have demanded more from the squad as their fourth place spot is under serious threat from Everton and their lack of a trophy is becoming more and more evident.

Top of the league at Christmas, Arsenal have failed to keep up their form but Seaman believes the supporters need to back Wenger as he will turn things around as he has done in the past.

“There are more and more people coming up to me saying it is time that he [Wenger] left. But, for me, he is a great manager.

“I know some fans are going crazy but if we win the FA Cup and get in the top four that, on paper, looks like a great season for Arsenal.”
