Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has stated that he has a number of offers of employment on the table and will announce his new club this summer.
The Portuguese trainer is regarded as one of the best in the business, having won domestic titles in a number of different countries.
He spearheaded Chelsea’s title success in 2014-15 but the West London club have had a massive fall from grace this term.
Mourinho was shown the Stamford Bridge door by Roman Abramovich for the second time after a defeat to Leicester earlier this season and has been out of work since.
He has been linked with a move to Old Trafford to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United, but as yet there has been no confirmation over where his next destination will be.
Mourinho has stated that he is weighing up a number of options before next season and will be back in management for the 2016-17 campaign.
“I can almost guarantee you that I’ll be back working this summer – I’ve got good offers on the table,” he is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.
“It’s a matter of thinking, to come to a good decision and finalising it. In the summer everyone will know what my next club will be.’
“I’ll take my ideas to where they are wanted. I want to be at a place where I’m wanted.
“I want to work at a club with responsibility, in a hard league and where there are no easy objectives. That doesn’t leave many options.”
