Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is considering the idea of snubbing the chance to join Manchester United following their latest victory, Express reports.
The recently sacked manager was being eyed as a potential replacement to under-fire United boss Louis van Gaal, but could now lose out on the opportunity.
Van Gaal was said to be close to getting sacked by the club following a run of eight games without a win in all competitions before their 2-1 win over Swansea City at the weekend.
The Dutchman is now expected to be given more time to improve his performance as the Red Devils board aren’t keen on letting him leave at the moment.
Mourinho was believed to be one of the first names on the list of potential replacements, but he is now ready to snub the offer if no advances are made.
However, if Van Gaal is unable to lead the club to a top four spot, the board may need to reconsider his situation in the summer.
