Former Swansea City star Michu has revealed his desire to make a return to the club despite only securing his exit less than three months ago, Express reports.
The 29-year-old was a key member of the squad back in 2012, scoring 22 goals while also helping his side win the Capital One Cup.
His career was then halted after a host of injury problems as he struggled to make a return to the Swans first team.
Michu eventually forced a loan move to Serie A outfits Napoli in 2014, but once again failed to make an impact, featuring only five times.
Following the end of his spell in Italy, the Spanish attacker was released by the Swans last November despite having another year left on his deal, before eventually joining Spanish fourth tier side UP Langreo.
However, he has now come out to admit that he wants to return to the Liberty Stadium as he missed his time playing in the Premier League.
“I miss it, I was really happy in Swansea, it was the best season of my life and my career,” he said.
“I miss the crowd, I miss the team-mates, I miss the city as well.
“I miss the Premier League and if I can play again at the highest level, I will play for Swansea for sure. The fans were always with me, incredible. I have something inside I need to give back to them.”
