Leicester City midfielder Gokhan Inler is looking to leave the King Power Stadium.
That’s according to TuttoMercadoWeb, who claim the midfielder’s agent has confirmed he would accept a move if an offer came in.
Inter only managed five Premier League appearances last season, as his club went on to life the title in a remarkable season. But his lack of playing time effected his international career, as he was dropped as Switzerland captain and left out of their EURO 2016 squad.
“I’m in constant contact with [Leicester] and we decided that, in the case of offers, [Inler] will leave in this transfer window,” His agent Dino Lamberti said.
Inter still has two more years on his Foxes contract, and despite speculation over N’Golo Kante’s future at the club, is still set to be allowed to depart the Premier League champions.
The 32-year-old is currently in Austria with the squad taking part in pre-season testing, ahead of their Community Shield fixture against Manchester United on August 7th. They then open the new season by defending their crown away at Hull City on August 13th.
