Manchester United have been alerted as Paris Saint-Germain put contract talks for Zlatan Ibrahimovic on hold, Express reports.
The 34-year-old is currently on the final few months of his contract as he will see it expire at the end of the season.
He has been eyed by United as well as Chelsea in recent windows amid concerns that PSG won’t be handing him an extension.
However, manager Laurent Blanc could still keep hold of the Sweden international despite taking it slow in regards to opening talks with the striker.
Blanc’s future at the Parc des Princes is also under question given recent speculation that he could be leaving the France capital at the end of the current campaign.
Ibrahimovic has been a vital member for the squad during his four years at the club, scoring over 20 goals in all competitions since his arrival from AC Milan back in the summer of 2012.
He has already featured 30 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score 24 goals while providing another 10 assists.
