Frank Lampard has picked up a thigh injury in England training and is now a doubt for Euro 2012, according to Sky Sports.
The Three Lions are stepping up their preparations for the tournament, and will face Belgium in an international friendly on Saturday.
The Chelsea man has been confirmed as pulling up in team training on Wednesday with the twinge, and as such will undergo a scan on Thursday to assess the extent of the injury.
The FA have confirmed that Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has been put on stand-by, and will join Roy Hodgson’s contingent should Lampard have to withdraw from the group.
The news will be a blow to England’s preparations, who have already lost one central midfielder in the form of Gareth Barry.
