Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have been joined by Paris Saint-Germain in their chase to sign Lille star Sofiane Boufal, Express reports.
The 22-year-old has emerged as a potential target for the three mentioned clubs as they are believed to be planning a January swoop for his services.
However, the winger recently revealed that he will only move to a club that can offer him Champions League football, as he hopes the chance to feature in Europe can further develop him as a player.
“I plan to go later in my career to a big European club that will play hopefully in the Champions League, in order to continue my progression,” he said.
Despite interest from a number of teams, Boufal also admitted that he is happy playing for Lille at the moment and isn’t keeping track of all the names linked with him.
“Today there are rumours of names but for now I do not mind.
“For now, I am very much in Lille and it is the ideal club for me.”
Both Premier League clubs are currently not part of the Champions League this term, but could still finish in the top four ahead of next season.
The Reds are sitting ninth on the table, six points away from Arsenal in fourth, while Spurs are fifth, only two away from the Gunners.
