French champions Paris Saint Germain are desperate to keep hold of star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic beyond this season, as reported by Sky Sports.
PSG chairman Nasser al-Khelaifi has claimed that the big spending capital club will do all they can to keep the Swedish international.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was tempted to make a move for the striker in the summer but opted for Samuel Eto’o instead, a decision he could come to regret.
The goals are not yet flowing for the Blues this season with Eto’o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba struggling to find the net.
Ibrahimovic has praised Mourinho in his recent autobiography and would welcome the chance to work with him again, but PSG have other ideas.
“Ibrahimovic is the soul of the club, just like Thiago Silva and now Edinson Cavani.
“He is a key element of PSG. Keeping him here as long as possible is very important.”
