Bafetimbi Gomis, whose contract with Lyon has ended, will now be available on a free transfer as a host of English clubs battle for his signature, Daily Mail reports.

The now free agent will travel to London to meet up with representatives from West Ham United, Sunderland, and Swansea, with the mentioned clubs interested in acquiring the services of the striker who has scored 67 goals in 107 games for his former side.

In addition to the interest from clubs in England, Turkish side Galatasaray are also said to be on the lookout for the French star with Didier Drogba currently linked with a move to Juventus.

The 28-year-old’s representative praised the likes of his talent by saying: “Bafetimbi is one of the best free agents in Europe at the moment. He’s quick, strong and most importantly scores goals.”

Elsewhere, the Swans will need to find a possible replacement for Wilfried Bony, who has been a top target for a vast number top teams such as Liverpool, Everton, as well as Arsenal.

The Black Cats are currently going through a squad makeover with Gomis being one of their many targets while the Hammers are looking to reinforce their attacking line up with the Ligue 1 star.
