Manchester United star Andreas Pereira is set to remain at the club despite earlier links of a loan exit, according to reports from Sport Witness.
The 20-year-old previously revealed that he was frustrated with his limited role under manager Louis van Gaal and was linked with potential moves to Leicester City, Malaga, as well as PSV Eindhoven.
However, his exit was denied by the Dutchman as he was not keen to let Pereira leave with the club suffering from a host of injury concerns during the previous window.
Despite speculation of a loan departure, his agent, Leonardo Scheinkman, has ruled out his potential exit as the attacking midfielder looks to prove his worth under Van Gaal.
“Not that I’m aware of. He wants to stay at Manchester United,” he said.
Pereira has featured from the bench a number of times this term, appearing as a substitute four times in the Premier League and another one time in the Champions League, while only managing to score one goal in the League Cup.
