Fulham have reportedly beat fellow Premier League sides to the signing of Huddersfield’s Jordan Rhodes, with a £3.5 million deal set to be wrapped up next week, according to Mirror Football.
The highly-rated striker is the nation’s top scorer, having hit the back of the net 40 times for the League One club this season, and has been linked with a move to a raft of top-flight teams.
However, Martin Jol’s men are believed to have won the race for the 22-year-old’s signature, and will announce his capture after the League One playoff final at Wembley on Saturday.
Everton, Norwich, Aston Villa and West Ham were also believed to be monitoring the forward, who has made his senior debut for Scotland this season also.
