Arsenal's Andrey Arshavin

Galatasaray have made an offer of £4 million for Arsenal's Andrei Arshavin, The Daily Mail report.

The Russia international suffered a dramatic dip in form for the Gunners last term, and was farmed out to Zenit St Petersburg in the second half of the campaign.

With Arsene Wenger looking to revamp his attacking options with the signatures of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski this summer Arshavin is believed to be surplus to requirements and allowed to leave the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are thought to be holding out for around £7 million for the eastern European playmaker, but are also keen to offload Arshavin as his £70,000 per week wages are an expenditure that the north London side do not want.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail have also revealed that Santi Cazorla will fly out to Germany to meet up with his new team-mates ahead of a move from Malaga.

The Spain international has sealed a switch to the Gunners, and will join his new side for a pre-season fixture in Europe.
