Liverpool may well be set to part company with tempestuous forward Mario Balotelli for good this summer, with The Mirror stating that Galatasaray want to take the Italian off their hands.
Following the sale of Luis Suarez, the Reds moved to land the former Manchester City forward as a direct replacement.
Balotelli failed to fire during his second tenure in English football, with this playing a role in Brendan Rodgers losing his job at Anfield.
The controversial striker has spent the 2015-16 campaign back on loan at former club AC Milan, but the Serie A giants do not want to complete a permanent deal for the Italy international.
Galatasaray are the latest side to be linked with a move for Balotelli and could well get a bargain price as the Merseysiders look to offload the troublesome star before the start of 2016-17.
Balotelli has been omitted from Italy’s squad from Euro 2016 and has a real point to prove after seeing his career fade badly in recent years.
