Liverpool have been urged to make a formal offer for Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin in January as his agent reveals that his client could make a move if a good bid is made, Metro reports.
His agent, Matteo Roggi also stated that he believes the 21-year-old Italian should remain at the club to continue his development but hinted that a move could still be possibility.
“I think it’s normal that when you do well, big teams tend to be interested. But at the moment I haven’t heard anything from Liverpool so I think it’s only a rumour for now,” Roggi told calciomercato.it.
“Mattia is one of Genoa’s finest pieces, but logic leads me to state that he will stay there until the end of the season.
“He needs to in order to keep growing at what he feels like his home. And that’s what he thinks too.
However, Roggi added that he will review all offers and could even advise a move in the upcoming January window.
“Obviously in football, you can never say never because if in January somebody came with an undeniably good offer, then he would leave.”
