Bayern Munich are set to end their chase for Manchester United ace Angel Di Maria and Chelsea target Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid, Express reports.
The Bundesliga champions are currently in the market for another winger this summer and have also been linked with a move for Liverpool contract rebel Raheem Sterling.
United manager, Louis van Gaal, is unlikely to allow the sale of Di Maria as the Dutchman is set to give the winger another chance to prove himself following a turbulent first season at Old Trafford.
However, it was believed that the Red Devils were considering his departure, but only if Bayern were able to match his record fee of £59.7million, something they aren’t too keen on doing.
In regards to their move for Blues target Griezmann, Atletico have a £43million release clause tied to the France international, a valuation that Bayern aren’t willing to match.
It is now said that the German giants are considering a move for Arsenal target Douglas Costa from Shaktar Donetsk, a player who is currently considered a cheaper alternative to the mentioned pair.
