Arsenal may be forced to look elsewhere for another attacker after Borussia Dortmund revealed that they will not be selling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Daily Star reports.
The 26-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates over the past few months, but the Gunners have already seen an earlier £28.7million bid rejected by the Bundesliga side.
However, manager Arsene Wenger is said to be preparing another offer around the £30million region in hopes of luring the striker to his side.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has now come out to play down any chances of Aubameyang leaving Germany despite interest from the Premier League giants.
“We rely heavily on Aubameyang – that is no secret,” he said.
“I’ve heard a lot about this (a transfer to Arsenal) but I can say very clearly that it is blocked for him. He is simply not for sale.”
The Gabon international has been on standout form this past season, scoring 25 goals and providing a further 11 assist from a total of 46 matches in all competitions.
They have already lost Ciro Immobile to La Liga outfits Sevilla on a season-long loan as the club are not likely to allow another attacker to leave in the same window.
