Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin wants to make Leroy Fer’s move to the Liberty Stadiu permanent, according to The South Wales Evening Post.
The Netherlands international has spent the second half of the current campaign on loan with the Swans from QPR but is set to return to Loftus Road this summer.
Fer has shown that he is more than capable of featuring in the Premier League and seems destined to leave the struggling Londoners for good ahead of 2016-17.
Guidolin has been offered a permanent role as coach of Swansea and wants to make Fer’s stay at the club permanent in his first move in the transfer market.
Fer has been capped 10 times by the Netherlands and has shown versatility since moving to English football.
Swansea are expected to revamp their squad over the course of the summer to avoid another season with the threat of relegation looming over them.
