Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that both Theo Walcott and Denilson will return from injury in Wednesday's meeting with Bolton Wanderers.

The Gunners would leapfrog Chelsea at the top of the table should they repeat Sunday's 2-0 victory over the same opposition and Wenger's squad will be strengthened for the clash at the Emirates Stadium.

England forward Walcott has missed the last four games with a hamstring problem in what has been a campaign blighted by a succession of niggling injuries.

Meanwhile, Brazilian midfielder Denilson has been sidelined since picking up a rib injury against Everton two weeks ago.

"Denilson and Walcott are available for Wednesday night," manager Arsene Wenger told Arsenal TV Online."It is a big boost of course because they were out for a while and it gives us some fresh players.

"Walcott has been unlucky with some small niggling injuries and so it is good to have him back."

Speaking about the injuries to other members of his squad, Wenger added:"Nicklas Bendtner should be available for the Villa game on January 27 too.

"He should be back from next week onwards - Monday or Tuesday. Maybe he will not be completely ready for Stoke but, after that, he should be able to be in the squad."

Fran Merida, who scored the second goal against the Trotters at the weekend, and Samir Nasri and Aaron Ramsey will all miss the game through injury.Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
