West Ham United have no plans to open contract talks with England goalkeeper Robert Green.

Green, 29, has 12 months remaining on his existing deal with the Upton Park club and is currently away on World Cup duty in South Africa.

Arsenal are reported to be considering a summer move for the former Norwich City shot-stopper, but chairman David Gold is not planning to sit down with Green to discuss extending his four-year spell with the Hammers.

"At this stage we are not going to have talks with him about a new deal," Gold told The Sun.

"World Cups change lives. It's the global shop window and who knows what may happen. We could get amazing offers - offers you can't refuse.
