West Ham United could be forced to sell Arsenal and Manchester United target Winston Reid due to the fact that they may be unable to meet his new contract demands, Mirror reports.
The 26-year-old defender wants to increase his wages to £60,000-a-week and is also keen on adding another £1million signing-on-fee in order for him to remain at the club.
His contract will expire at the end of this season with the Gunners and the Red Devils beginning to consider his demands as the baseline of a potential offer in bids to lure him to their respective sides.
Liverpool have also joined the race for the New Zealand international as all the interested parties are in line to sign him for a cut-price deal due to the Hammers inability to extend his stay.
However, Sam Allardyce will surely be trying all he can to convince his star defender to stay as he believes Reid is a vital member of his squad and has made huge contributions to their current run of form which now sees them in fourth place.
