West Ham United's sporting director Gianluca Nani has insisted that Switzerland midfielder Valon Behrami will not be sold in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old joined the Hammers from Italian side Lazio in the summer of 2008, but his progress at Upton Park has been hampered by a number of injury problems.
However, Nani is adamant that Behrami, who is under contract until the summer of 2013, is going nowhere.
He told Radio Tau:"I want to reiterate that we have no intention nor do we have the need to sell any of our top players.
"Everything is good as it is and that also goes for Behrami, a great player that will remain here."
Behrami has scored twice in 36 appearances for the Irons to date, having also featured for Lugano, Genoa and Verona during his career.
