Harry Redknapp has called upon his players that have been selected for England to seize their moment.
The Tottenham boss has seen four of his squad called up for England for the up and coming friendly against Brazil and he believes that it is vital that they take whatever opportunity comes there way as they look to stake a claim for Fabio Capello’s World Cup Squad in South Africa.
Redknapp feels that they are all capable of making the plane to South Africa, whilst also suggesting that it is also good for Tottenham to have so many players in the national set-up.
“All of the Tottenham lads can get into the World Cup squad, of course they can, they have been given a chance and now it’s up to them.” Redknapp said.
“It’s great for the club to have so many players in the England set-up. There might be a few injuries, but they have a great opportunity to stake a claim,
“I am delighted for them because they have worked hard and showed what good players they are. Tom can get better as well. He has the ability to take games by the scruff of the neck and really boss them. I would like to see him do that more often.” (Express)
