Harry Redknapp believes Tottenham's strong influence in England's provisional World Cup squad is an honour for the north London club.
Six players from Spurs have made Fabio Capello's squad which will be cut to 23 players on June 1.
Defenders Michael Dawson and Ledley King, midfield duo Tom Huddlestone and Aaron Lennon, plus strikers Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe have all been included.
Reknapp believes that is just reward following the club's fourth-placed finish in the final Premier League table and spot in next season's Champions League.
"It is fantastic, great news for the club to have six players in the squad and they all deserve to be there," he told the club's official website.
"We expected Peter, JD and Aaron to be there. I thought Ledley would also make it and I was hoping Michael and Tom would as well, so the fact they are in there is great.
"It shows the strength of the playing squad here now and it is a great honour for the players and for the club, their families and everyone involved.
"I just hope no one is left disappointed when the squad gets cut down."
